Ricky and I went to the same elementary school.  He taught me how to play chess.  He was such a nice person.  I feel sad that he is no longer with us.   In peace.

Ricky lived two doors up from us on Humphreys Street before we moved to Manoa for the third grade.  There was an accident in which my family was involved, and we don't talk about it, but my older brother Bill, I think, has never forgiven himself.  It was an accident.  In high school Ricky and I played lacrosse together.

I remember Ricky very well as we went to Chestnutwald Elementary together. I remember him  coming by the house many times to show me his motorcycle and offering me a ride.  We would land up sitting in the yard talking as my Mom  wouldn't let me!  He really loved his motorcycle and was a very nice guy.      Marlene
