Sharon Louise Frankau (Bielen)

Sharon Louise Bielen
It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Bielen announces her passing after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the age of 71 years. Daughter of Louis and Margaret Frankau of Haverford, PA (deceased). Sharon was a varsity cheerleader and played varsity field hockey for Haverford High School. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband Alex Bielen and her children Jason and Ashley (Milne). She will also be fondly remembered by her sister Peggy (Mike) Holmes and brother John (Deb) Frankau. Sharon was founder and president of ERS (Executive Room Service) which at its inception served as a pioneering model for what has become in today's time a multi-million dollar corporate housing industry. After successfully serving the Fairfield County community for thirty years she retired from the company in 2016. In her devotion to those afflicted with developmental disabilities, Sharon was actively involved with STAR, a not-for-profit organization established to help individuals who have developmental disabilities live full, independent lives. Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to STAR Inc., 182 Wolfpit Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851. To extend personal condolences to the family, please visit www.nutmegcremation.com.
