John was my younger brother and started traveling to India in 1993. He fell in love with this country, it's people, culture and the Hindu Religion. He traveld throughout this country and lived in different Ashrams in order to study under several of it's masters and saints and practiced yoga and meditation. He learned the sanskrit language and was a very good at chanting the Vedas. I was fortunate to travel with him to India in 1995 and found Ashram life to be very different and extremely rewarding. When not in India he stayed on the family property in New Hampshire. Unfortunately, he died suddenly in September 2005. His remains were taken by a mutual friend of ours to northern India where he was buried with full Vedic rites at the sacred confluence of the three holy rivers near Alabad. I hope this update helps his classmates understand my brother. Oh yes my brother believed in reincarnation and said he would come back.
