Survived By: Husband: Dale Overly
Daughter: April Joy Overly
Son: Mark Overly
After graduating from HHS in 1965, Edie attended Drexel University, where she majored in Home Economics. She met her husband, Dale Overly, at Drexel and they later married. They had two children April Joy and Mark. Edie was an accomplished flautist. Her daughter April was an accomplished harp player. When they played their music together, it sounded like music from Heaven! She also was a devout Christian and is she and her husband were extremely active in their church. Edie was a very kind, selfless person who is greatly missed by many.

Edie and I were in the band together. She was a truly nice person and a pleasure to know. My thoughts and prayers to her family. She will be missed

Edie was one of my favorite people from high school. There was never anyone sweeter or more caring. May she rest in peace in the arms of her Lord.
