After High School I attended Penn State where I met my husband of 46 years, Lee. Right after getting married we located to New Jersey for jobs with AT&T and we have been here ever since.
Once I had my children, I was pretty much a stay-at-home Mom. I was a substitute teacher off and on.
My interests throughout my life have been my church. Lee and I did youth work for ten years and I have always been involved with Women's ministry; teaching and speaking. Lee is now one of four pastor's at Remedy Church, Brick, NJ.
For the past 11 years I had been the Associate Teaching Director for Community Bible Study, a national and international Bible Study. Our group here in Central Jersey has 120 women and a class of 25 children. I helped administrate the class and lectured.
I have always been interested in Arts & Crafts; teaching quilting and fiber arts.
This year I started "Creative Touch", a ministry that makes shawls, laprobes, and children's items for charity.
I love to read, cook and research on the internet.
Of course, a good part of my life was spent raising two wonderful men. Chris works for the Institute of Children, Poverty & Homelessness in NYC; overseeing the Research Dept. Mike, also works in NYC in the diamond importing business. They both are very active in their churches. Mike just returned from a mission's trip to the poor in Rio De Janero, Brazil helping to film a documentary.
Music filled our home in the growing years as both boys were active in band playing their trumpets.
Hubby is the sportsman loving sailing, skiing, fly fishing, hiking, kayaking etc. (you can move to NJ but you can't take the PA out of us!)
We take many weekends and go to the Lancaster area to unwind. We live a mile from the New Jersey beach, but we always need our PA fix.
It has been fun connecting with classmates on Facebook this year.

I had a wonderful school experience in Havertown. Grade school was spent at Manoa and Llanerch.
My favorite memories of High School would be the Friday night dances and going to the basketball games. I was in the school plays and really enjoyed that also.
